Scott is a writer and comedian based in Naarm / Melbourne.

His fiction (falsehoods, lies, deceptions, etc.) has appeared in Electric Literature, Griffith Review, Going Down Swinging, The Suburban Review, Westerly, Debris Magazine, The Big Issue Fiction Edition, The Furphy Anthology, Kill Your Darlings’ New Australian Fiction and elsewhere.

He was recently the inaugural Copyright Agency Frank Moorhouse Fellow. His collection-in-progress was shortlisted for the 2020 Richell Prize, and in 2023 he was a winner of the Griffith Review Emerging Voices Competition and recipient of the Felix Meyer Scholarship.

His feature screenplay, Crime Casters, is in development with Haven’t You Done Well Productions, with funding from Screen Australia. He has also been part of the voice cast of the narrative podcast and ABC Fresh Blood animated project Starship Q Star.

He has performed multiple character comedy shows at fringe and comedy festivals around Australia. His most recent live show, ‘Scoot Lambrock: Journey to the Infinite Void’, was described as ‘A joy’ (The Age) and ‘Like a comedic theme park ride with gutbusting laughs’ (Lilithia Reviews), and was a judge’s pick at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
